In September, just around harvest time, I had the pleasure of accompanying David Raines to France where we visited winemakers across (and up and down) the country. At each winery we began by walking the vineyard, then exploring the cellar (tasting from tank and barrel), concluding with extended tastings of each portfolio of wines, in many cases being treated to a chronology of several vintages.


This Saturday we will pour 12 of the wines we fell in love with.
